IllustrationFri day.com hosts a fun weekly challenge that
I often particpate in. Each Friday, a one word topic is posted
on their site and participants create drawings based on their
interpretation of the word. If I have time or something in my
sketchbook fits the word, I submit one. The word for this image
was TRAVEL. You can visit their site and see all the other interesting
images people have submitted.

A Friend for Life! |

In January these young ladies painted Pet Portraits of Simba,
Holly, Marbles and Harvey in my studio. These Dogs were all up
for Adoption on Animal Care &
Control's Pet Finder Website. We are happy to report that since
that time, they have all been adopted and found new friends for
Life!

Art is Heading to TEXAS! |

We're coming to Richardson, Texas for the COTTONWOOD ART FESTIVAL,
May 7-8. It should be a beautiful spring time road trip (14 hours
each way). I look forward to meeting some Texans, especially
several of my Ebay Customers who live in the area!

I have created some new large cityscapes that I will be displaying
at the Starbucks in Roscoe Village in May. 10% of all Sales will
benefit the Friends Of Animal Care & Control. So if you are in
Chicago, stop in for some coffee or tea and check them out! I
will also be exhibiting paintings on the 3rd floor at the FLAT
IRON Building's Summer Show, with over 40 other Artists. May
20, 21, 22. The hours are: Friday 6-10pm Saturday 11-10pm Sunday
11-6pm

Chicago's Animal Care & Control asked me to create a banner
design for "Be Kind To Animals Week", May 1-7. The
Banners will hang in the lobby of City Hall. Plus, over 500,000
Chicago households will receive a flyer with the Design in their
water bills!
