| Stray Cat Strut this Saturday, June 10th! |

Strut your stuff at the Stray Cat Strut! I created
this poster and t-shirt design for this 5K Walkathon
and Open House to benefit Tree House Animal
Foundation. The walk begins at 10am on Saturday June
10th at Tree House, 1212 West Carmen Avenue in
Chicago. Please come out and support this great
organization!

My "Black Dog With Stripes" painting will be
featured in a Charity
Arf n' Art Auction on June
14th at Living With Art Gallery in New York City.
Proceeds benefit future Barkin' Arts art
exhibitions
and children's educational art workshop programs.
A portion of proceeds will be donated to Animal
Haven Shelter. People, art and animals belong
together and benefit
from one another!

This is a technique of scratching through one color
of glaze to get to the color below. This piece is
terra cotta, I call it "HumanBeast"...reminds me of
grade school art class, coloring a piece of paper
with a gazilliion crayolas then painting over with
black tempera and scratching through to make a drawing.

My "Flying Black Dog" painting was featured in the
May Issue of License Magazine which
previews the upcoming Licensing International Show
in New York, June
20-22. I have recently had over 70 designs licensed
for greeting cards and cell phone graphics and have
a a few other contracts in the works. Stay
tuned...there will be more exciting news in the
months ahead!

| Summer Art Fairs Heat Up in July |

My Chicago area summer art fair schedule begins in
July with the Magnificent Mile Art Festival
July 7-8-9, the following weekend I will
make my debut at the Buffalo Grove Art
Festival, July 15-16. I hope to see you in July!

"Two Birds Flying" will be on display and up for
bidding at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary
Art on June 22
at Chicago House's 2006 Birdhouse Auction and
Cocktail Party featuring birdhouses and bird-themed
artwork by some of Chicago's best artists and
designers, all proceeds to help support women, men,
and children living with HIV and AIDS.
