I am a bit behind in the Newsletter department, life
has been very busy and as you will read, we have had
some big changes in the last few months. I hope this
finds you well and enjoying the fall season.
| A Sad Farewell... |
 |
|
We lost our beloved cat Oliver
in August, after 15 years. We adopted him in 1991
from the Chicago Anti Cruelty Society. He was quite
a feisty feline and he is dearly missed... I
posted a Tribute to
him on my blog.
Many other folks I know have also recently
lost their 4 legged friends. Among them two very
special dogs, Charlie
of The
Dogs Gallery and Lenny
owned by my friend Stephi of Angel Food
Bakery. I had the pleasure of knowing and
painting portraits of both of these sweet pups.
I like to think that Oliver is up there frolicking
in the clouds with all the other animals I've lost
and those lost by my friends.

Anne's Studio Has Moved! |
|
|
|
After amost 12 years in Bucktown we have relocated
to the Avondale neighborhood in Chicago...Not far,
only a mile northwest, into a beautiful sun-filled
100 year old house complete with a deck and backyard
that the dogs adore! I'm pretty sentimental and was
very sad to leave my beloved Oakley Avenue studio,
but am excited and energized as I unpack and work to
create a lovely new space to work in and to see
what new inspirations lie ahead.
