| YAH Pet Rescue - Buy A Shirt! |
 |
|
Back in February I created this design for a
wonderful Senior Animal Pet Rescue Group in
the Chicago area: Young At
Heart Pet Rescue. All proceeds from
the sale of
these shirts and other merchandise (magnets,
and notepads) will go
towards the many expenses an organization
like this has in its efforts to save,
sometimes treat and foster these dears until
they find new homes...Go
shopping now!

| American Heart Association Ball |
 |
|
My painting "Sweet Home Chicago" brought in
more than $600 for the American
Heart Association at
their Chicago Heart Ball on April 14th at
Navy Pier. I also recently donated another
cityscape to the Audubon
School Fundraiser in the Roscoe Village
neighborhood coming up this weekend.

Another Brush With Hollywood |
|
|
|
A fun bit of trivia to share...my postcard of
"Urban
View" appears as a prop in the kitchen
of Jim Carrey's most recent horror movie The
Number 23 -
I spotted it in the trailer.
We'll wait until it is available on
DVD so we can watch it with the sound
down (we are wimps) and see if any of my
other cards made it in. The same set
decorator I worked with on the movie "The
Break Up" passed my cards along for props
since Jim's character plays an animal control
officer. (In 2005 I worked as an extra
and set up my art fair booth for the final
scene of "The Break Up" but the scene was
cut!)
